“I first spoke with Misty approximately 18 months ago when I made a “cold” call to Silvercreek Realty in Meridian, Idaho which was answered by Misty. I advised her that my wife and I were considering a move from Bakersfield, California to Meridian, Idaho to be closer to our son Mike and his family. I explained to her that we didn’t have a firm timeline in mind and at this point just wanted to explore the real estate and housing markets in the area to see what might be available if we decided to move. Immediately, Misty told us that she would be more then happy to assist us in gathering information to assist us in making the big decision to move, and what we could expect housing wise if we did. To begin with, Misty immediately set us up to receive real estate listings from a variety of sources thru email that allowed us to see homes that met the criteria we were looking for. Additionally, she continually forwarded us statistics, articles, and various publications that kept us up to date on what was happening and the changes taking place in the markets and in the mortgage industry as we went forward. As we got more serious, we went to Meridian to meet with Misty and take in the area. Misty picked us up and drove us around Meridian, showing us the town itself, restaurants, shopping, hospitals, etc. and of course a variety of real estate developments and homes that were currently for sale. Spending this time with Misty was very instrumental in us deciding that we were in fact going to re-locate to Meridian. We made the decision late last year and put our home in Bakersfield up for sale. Although it was somewhat unexpected based on the time of the year etc., we quickly sold our house to the first couple that looked at it. At that point, Misty went into high gear and spent several full days visiting different homes for us, showing them to us on FaceTime and sharing her opinions on the homes and the neighborhoods the houses were located in. She obviously had a vast knowledge of the real estate market in Meridian and was extremely helpful in us eventually finding a home. We put together an offer for a home that Misty presented and it was soon accepted and the rest is history. Both the home we sold and the one we bought went into escrow late last year. Misty spent a great deal of time communicating with our agent in Bakersfield to ensure that the homes would close escrow on or nearly on the same day which was very helpful to us. Both homes closed on schedule with no issues and we are now living in a beautiful home in Tuscany in Meridian.
